How are you handling social distancing and having kids home from school?

For our locally-owned restaurants, this is an incredibly tough time. They're not allowed to have people stay and eat, so they now have to offer just delivery/carry-out or close. Some have had to lay off the gross majority of their workers.

If you can, support our local restaurants and breweries!

Several outlets have already prepared lists, some that will be continually updated, so we won't reinvent the wheel. Instead, here are some places you can find great restaurants to support:

Uber Eats, Grubhub, and DoorDash are helping by waiving their fees for hundreds of thousands of small restaurants, so you can also find options there.

Check with your favorite restaurant to see what they are doing. Most are coming up with a plan on the fly. We’ve noticed that a lot of restaurant websites aren’t being updated but their social media pages are, so check there. Also, consider purchasing a gift certificate to your favorite restaurant or culinary school (for yourself or others), a great suggestion from Cook Street.
