K-12 Artists: Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children invites you to enter their art contest!
WHAT
Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC) is a full service pediatric hospital in Denver with renowned specialists who care for children from the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond. They are hosting a contest for original artwork created by K-12 students throughout the Rocky Mountain region. Selected pieces will be placed on units throughout the hospital.
WHEN
August - November: Create your colorful masterpieces. All pieces should convey a feeling of cheer, encouragement and hope.
Canvas should be 16" X 24". Artwork should lay flat with no more than 1-inch popping off page
Any medium welcome
FINISHED MASTERPIECE
Finished pieces can be dropped off in person to the RMHC front desk on or before November 29th.

RULES
1. RMHC has the right to keep any artwork submitted as well as display the artwork in a public setting.
2. All art must be original and created by a K-12 student.
3. Teachers/administrators may submit up to 20 pieces of art per school campus with a maximum of 1 submission for any particular student. School name, student name, student grade, teacher name and teacher contact info must be indicated on the back of each piece.
4. Patients in hospital will select favorite artwork which will be narrowed down to top 20 pieces to be installed throughout the hospital.
5. No clay or scented materials.

- December 7: Winning artwork will be selected by patients.
- December 8-27: Students, teachers, family and friends are inviting to swing by the RMHC lobby anytime to see artwork on display for all eyes to see. Selected pieces will be indicated by noon on December 9.
- January 2020: Winning pieces will be installed.
