Free Día del Niño celebration ath the Denver Museum of Nature & Science on April 28

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is partnering with the Mexican Cultural Center to host the sixth annual “Día del Niño: Celebrating All Children,” an SCFD Community Free Day event, on Sunday, April 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Museum’s Día del Niño celebration will include multicultural music and dance performances, face painting, crafts, Colorado sports mascots, Mr. Bones the Paleo Puppeteer, a Museum-wide scavenger hunt, and free admission to the “Our Senses: Creating Your Reality” temporary exhibition.

Día del Niño guests will also enjoy 50% off admission to the temporary exhibition “Leonardo da Vinci: 500 Years of Genius.”

When:  Sunday, April 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cost:  FREE!

Limited free parking is available at the Museum, so alternative transportation is highly encouraged. Additional free parking will be available at East High School, 1600 City Park Esplanade. Free shuttle buses will run throughout the day between the Museum and the high school. Lyft ridesharing service is offering $5 off the first three rides for new users with the code DMNSNEW.
