Are you as excited for Halloween as we are?! While Halloween itself falls on a Wednesday this year, there’s a lot going on in Northeast Denver over the next two weekends.
And if you're planning to pass out candy or go trick-or-treating yourself, check out these awesome tips for surviving Halloween in Stapleton.

If you’re tired of Denver haunted houses, it’s time to travel an eerie trail where the darkness has almost all but taken hold, creatures and spirits infamous in stories and lore, rise to life in the new Enchanted Hollows night walk experience. Bass Pro Shops invites little ghosts and goblins to enjoy Halloween at the Great Pumpkin Celebration with Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang for free! Activities and time are different each day, but kids always receive a FREE 4x 6 photo of themselves with the entire Peanuts gang, and the first 75 children to have their photo taken each day get a free Halloween bag. There are crafts, a parade, a pumpkin toss, and more!

They've got you covered for glowsticks, but bring your brightest neon spandex, glow accessories, and fluorescent swag to really light up the night.

They'll have a special $8 brew (for adults) and a cauldron of candy (for kids) at each bar to help conjure up a great night. Decorate mini pumpkins together and then take a picture in front of their photo wall. Witchy women and wild warlocks in costume are welcome!

Zombies are taking over Stanley Marketplace! Open to all ages, join Neighborhood Music at Stanley Marketplace as they practice and plan a zombie crawl and thriller flash dance in honor of Halloween.
Rehearsal #1: Saturday, October 27, 3:30-5:00 p.m.
Rehearsal #2: Sunday, October 28, 10:30 a.m.-12:00 noon
Zombie Make-up Tutorial: Sunday, October 28, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
To participate in the zombie crawl and flash mob, meet in costume in The Hangar at Stanley on Sunday, October 28, at 2:00 p.m. for a final rehearsal.
To enjoy the flash mob as a spectator, just be at Stanley by 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
All ages welcome! Apologies in advance if the zombies eat your brains.

*Please note there is a chance that some businesses will run out of treats before 6:00 p.m., depending on how many people attend this event.
They ask that families who can afford it who participate in trick-or-treating at Stanley make a $5 donation to Kids' Compassion Project, our nonprofit partner for this and many other events. KCP will have an information table to collect these donations.
Kids Compassion Project Jack o' Lantern Contest
4:00-6:00 p.m.
4:30 p.m. - Jack o' Lantern contest entries due - judging will be based on design, detail, creativity, and originality. The Jack o' Lantern contest will be divided into age categories and they will award prizes to winners in each category.
