CherryArts Festival at Stanley, produced by the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, features nearly 100 exhibiting artists in 13 categories, including ceramics, mixed media, digital art, photography, metalworks, and drawing. In addition to the artists, visitors will enjoy children’s activities at Creation Station: an art auction exhibit, art installations, interactive art activities for all ages including an “Art Disco,” food trucks, and live entertainment.
The public is invited to top off the Festival weekend with the all-new ticketed Art Brunch on Sunday, September 17 from 10 a.m. to noon. Featuring live music and culinary brunch favorites for family and friends, all are invited to create take-home art activities during the brunch and throughout the Festival site. Visit http://2017artbrunch.eventbrite.com to purchase tickets. Proceeds from Art Brunch benefit CherryArts’ nonprofit mission of providing access to art experiences and supporting arts education in local schools.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Artworks from CherryArts’ Mobile Art Gallery will be on display at Stanley Marketplace throughout the event weekend. The touring Mobile Art Gallery is part of CherryArts’ year-round art education program providing students and communities access to professional works of art. Additionally, Denver-based artist Nicole Banowetz’s sewn inflatable sculptures, Vessel and Being More than One, will be featured at the event. Banowetz’s artwork addresses vulnerability and struggle. Her forms move freely between growth and decay, blurring the distinction between decoration and disease.
