Snow Mountain Ranch:

As a year-round destination, a stay at Snow Mountain Ranch brings groups and families together to relax and enjoy the outdoors. With a huge selection of activities, most included at no cost for overnight guests, everyone in the family will find something to do. From young to old, there’s an activity or program that will delight even the toughest of “too cool” teenagers. Accommodations ranges from hotel-style lodge rooms, yurts, cozy cabins, or mega reunion cabins sleeping up to 44 guests. Plus, guests who stay in lodge rooms receive two free breakfasts for each night booked.

For downhill skiers, Snow Mountain Ranch is conveniently located between the alpine ski resorts of Winter Park/Mary Jane and Ski Granby Ranch and offers an alpine ski/snowboard rental shop on-site.

Some unique on-site Spring Break activities include: dog sledding, fat tire snow bikes, Nordic (cross-country) skiing, tubing/sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing, horseback riding, indoor archery, indoor climbing wall, swimming pool with water slides and climbing wall, a loaded craft center, ping-pong, basketball, and roller skating, plus creative weekly programming such as a human Hungry Hungry Hippos game, snow games, curling, and snow fort building

Estes Park Center:

YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park offers families a unique, unplugged spring break experience with fun activities for all ages. Guests enjoy affordable private cabins and lodge rooms (no TVs!), optional dining plans that feature three meals a day, and activities such as guided hikes, fat tire snow bike rentals, indoor swimming, archery lessons, arts & crafts, roller skating, and miniature golf.

From March 19-April 14, YMCA of the Rockies will feature special events for families who are vacationing during spring break.

Activities include:

• Erupting Apple-Cano - Create and erupt your own mini apple-canos and figure out just why they erupt the way they do.
• Lawn Games - Come and join in the fun of Hawaiian-themed lawn games! Some include Beach Ball Relay Race, Coconut Bowling, and Human Ring Toss.
• Wave Maker - Create a wave in a bottle while learning the different densities of varying liquids.
• Luau Party - Wear your best Hawaiian shirt to participate in games, music and fun!
