Having a kid get cancer is a parent's worst nightmare. Join more then 1,000 participants for the 28th annual Kid's Cure for Cancer Family Fun Walk to help find a cure.

This family friendly event is the signature event of Brent's Place and includes a fun walk through the gorgeous Anschutz Medical Campus complete with an obstacle course, a DJ zone with music and dancing, a water zone with sprinklers and water slides, and a ball house! Finish the walk at the perfectly sized General's Park with a live band, free pancake breakfast, and kid's village of activities and games.

What:  A fun family event to benefit the families of Brent's Place
          When:  Saturday, July 30th
Where:  General's Park, 1561 N Quentin Street, Aurora, CO

Donn and Linda Eley started Brent's Place in 1998 as a tribute to their son, Brent, who was 13 years old when he was diagnosed with a fast-growing malignant cancer and had nowhere to stay while undergoing six months of bone marrow transplants. Brent's Place is a non-profit organization that provides clean, free housing to families with children undergoing similar immune-compromising treatments at Children's Hospital.

While this event is a fundraiser, there is no registration or participation fee and all are encouraged to come even without donating or fundraising to get to know more about Brent's Place and the families staying there. Come join the fun and help eradicate cancer!
