Do you feel like things are so expensive that there’s just no way that you can go out for a date night?  Or, are you looking for something you can do alone or with a friend on a budget to pass the hours of Valentine’s Day weekend?  Here are few ideas in Denver and the surrounding area that you might want to consider to “wow” that special someone without breaking the bank:

1.   Comedy Works- See hilarious comedy by Joe Larson (Cost: starting at $25/ticket)

2.   Ice skating at Skyline Park ($2 skate rentals)

3.   Brown palace – Enjoy a couple cocktails in this historic hotel and take a stroll down the 16th
street mall for some great people watching

4.   Landmark Theatre- Catch “How To Be Single” staring Rebel Wilson or any of the other
flicks now showing (Cost: adult weekend standard $13/ticket or go VIP to be able to order
food and drinks from your seat during the flick for $16/ticket)

5.   Lucky Strike Bowling- Sunday Funday enjoy $1 shoe rental, $3 bowling and $8 games

Bonus idea- Get over to Ken Caryl Sledding Hill- Snow permitting which isn’t looking good right now but save this one for the days following our next big storm.  This is a great place for kids of all ages.  The hours are 5a.m. to 11p.m., good for the early bird sledders (huh?) and you night owls (bundle-up!)
