Winter Fest At YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch

Now that the turkey leftovers have disappeared, grab the family and head up to Snow Mountain Ranch, YMCA of the Rockies, just outside of Winter Park for a fun family Winter Fest Weekend.  

Winter Fest weekends are set for December 4-6 and December 11-13 and include weekend-long fun in the snow and on the ice.  Accommodations include hotel-style lodge rooms, cozy cabins and mega reunion cabins sleeping up to 40 guests. 

The schedule below includes activities for all ages and at no additional cost to guests staying on the property.  The Human Hungry Hungry Hippos is a must do!

Fridays:

8:30am Snowman Building Contest on the Programs Lawn. (lasts all day)

7:00pm Hot Chocolate & Cookie Decorating @ Programs

8:00pm Movie Night “The Polar Express” @ Programs

Saturdays:

8:30am Snowman Building Contest on the Programs Lawn. 

9:00am Snow Games @ Programs Lawn

10:00am Weird Winter Science @ Day Camp Building

1:00pm Ice Skating Games @ Pavilion

7:00pm Bingo

9:30am Storybook Snowshoe Hike leaving from the Nordic Center

Other Snow Mountain Ranch adventures include indoor archery and indoor climbing wall, roller skating, crafts room, ice skating, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, tubing and sleigh rides.
