Bad words

Thursday, January 24, 2013 Leave a Comment

Tonight my 3 year old called me a bad word.

He wanted to go on a bike ride with the neighbors. It was getting dark, so I said no.

He said, "You're an a$$hole."

I have to admit, I had a hard time not laughing.

I'm pretty sure he has no idea what it means. Where did he hear it?

What do you do when your kids say bad words?

teach the kids about not using foul language and what adverse effects it will have on their personality.

My 3 year old daughter told her dad to, "Blow it out your ass!" when he asked her to go to bed one night. We had just finished watching the Great Outdoors. We couldn't help but try not to laugh while making our best impression of a stern face.
