You'll never watch Spongebob the same way again.
Did you know each of the characters is based on the seven deadly sins?

1. Greed. Mr. Krabs and his love of the almighty dollar.
2. Envy. Plankton's endless scheming to steal the Krabby Patty recipe and ruin his rival Mr. Krabs.
3. Pride. Sandy Squirrel believes she is so wonderful, she can live underwater. And she's from Texas. 'Nuff said.
4. Sloth. Patrick Star, of course. He lives under a rock, for goodness sake. He won an award for doing nothing.
5. Wrath. Squidward hates his job, his boss, his cousin, and especially Spongebob.
6. Gluttony. Why, it's Gary, Spongebob's pet snail! He does nothing but mew for food and eat. Once Spongebob forgot to feed him and he ate the couch.
7. Lust. Lust for life, that is. Spongebob's sunny nature and enthusiastic embrace of everyone and everything without filters rounds out the 7 deadly sins.
