You can help a family worrying about their next meal

Monday, October 31, 2011 Leave a Comment

Every day, in our community, more than 300,000 people worry about where they will find their next meal.

That's like filling Mile High Stadium more than 3 times with men, women, families, children. Every single day.

So we should all join in the first annual Stapleton Community Food Drive, hosted by New Perspective Real Estate, in support of the Food Bank of the Rockies- Saturday, November 5th through Friday, November 25th.

Please drop off your non-perishable donations - including canned goods, dry packaged goods, diapers and baby food (not in glass containers) - at the following locations:
  • New Perspective Real Estate (2330 Central Park Blvd)
  • 1st Bank (2850 Quebec Street)
  • Bill Roberts School (2100 Akron Way)
  • Blue Creek (7488 East 29th Avenue)
  • King Soopers (2810 Quebec Street)
  • The Odyssey School (6550 East 21st Avenue)
  • Stapleton Fellowship Church/Hangar 61 (8700 East 21st Avenue)
  • Stapleton Master Community Association (2823 Roslyn Street)
  • Tafoya Insurance Services (2332 Central Park Blvd)

Liz, thanks for helping us get the word out about the food drive! Our goal is to collect 1,000 pounds of food between Nov. 5 and Thanksgiving for the Food Bank of the Rockies. We really appreciate your support!
