Dear Bank of America (and Chase and Wells Fargo),
Let me get this straight: We American taxpayers bailed you out with billions of dollars, and now you are going to charge all of your customers $5 a month to use their debit cards?
Really?
Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo customers, here's what you should do: close your checking accounts. Take your money to a local bank. One that never got messed up in the mortgage fiasco. One that never gambled with your money and lost. One that never had to get bailed out. One that is not going to nickel and dime you to death.
Like FirstBank in Colorado.
Then take your $5 and go buy a share in Bank of America, which is trading at $6.
