With these tips on hand, your place settings are sure to wow the crowd at your next dinner party. From dishes to centerpieces, we can help you create perfectly elegant tables for any occasion.
The first step towards any great table is deciding on an overall design scheme.  Tailor your design to the specific demands of your occasion and choose a color scheme that will unify your table. Try to choose one or two neutrals and one or two bold accent colors.

After choosing your color scheme, select tablecloths, placemats, or table runners that play into that scheme. Consider choosing unique colors or textures, such as opulent silk, rustic burlap or canvas, or even thin wooden trays.

Next, choose the dishes and flatware you will use. Select dishes that incorporate at least one element of your color scheme and layer your dishes for a more interesting effect. Layer plates of different sizes and colors, or mix and match flatware for a more whimsical effect.

Add another layer of texture to your table with cloth napkins in a coordinating color or pattern. Napkins are an excellent way to incorporate a bold color in small doses, so consider choosing a deeply saturated solid color.

Next, turn your attention to the center of the table. Flowers and candles are always great options for centerpieces. Group different flowers and candles low to the table so that your guests can easily see and converse with each other. If you are feeling adventurous, considering upping the drama in your centerpiece by adding unique vases, baskets of beautiful produce, pinecones, or ornamental balls, or a small collection of statuary.

Finally, remember that the most successful table settings excel in the details. Roll your napkins into colorful napkin rings, mark each place with a personalized name card, or top each setting with sprigs of berries or greenery.

Whatever your choose to do, remember that creating beautiful place settings is all about being willing to indulge your creative side and try something new.
