Eating a fractal

We picked up this gorgeous Brocolli Romanesco at Marczyk's on Colfax. It is a perfectly formed fractal. The Mandelbrot set come to life.

My boy loved it raw. Its flavor is a cross between broccoli and cauliflower.

Then we chopped it up, sautéed it in olive oil with some garlic, let it steam for ten minutes, then tossed it with salt, pepper and freshly grated Parmesan.

Tonight I'm taking those leftovers and making Brocolli Romanesco risotto. How much mileage can I get out of this?
