2. The huge map of Stapleton-future. Even if you live here already, you might find it interesting that all the new construction is in Central Park West- filling in the tract of land from where the parking garage was to the new school. All the builders are putting model homes there.

3. The map that still shows Stapleton-past. Those of us in Eastbridge remember the map with the town center, the school, the homes and green space stretching all the way to Peoria. We're now the ugly-duckling of the neighborhood. No town center in the foreseeable future, no school, and massive remediation going on in the fenced-off "boot." I was told Forest City will be developing north of I-70 before they'll develop the boot. They have broken ground next to Knowledge Beginnings- I heard a dentist office was going in, but the map showed an Assisted Living Facility.

4. Tours of the HGTV Green Home leave from here Thursday - Sundays through July 3, 2011. Tickets cost $20 each, with net proceeds benefiting Urban Peak, a local, nonprofit organization that provides housing, medical care and counseling to homeless young people. Buy tickets online or at the Discovery Center. You have until June 2 to enter to win it!
