VALENTINES DAY 2011


FIRST:            

        seared diver scallops, bacon and sweet potato gnocchi, pomegranate sauce

spinach salad, warm bacon vinaigrette, Maytag blue cheese, fried cornbread croutons

     
poached Pei mussels in a garlic white wine saffron broth, grilled bread

        
roasted corn and chili bisque, red curry oil, topped with micro greens

SECOND:   
seared sea bass with red beet and basil rice, lemon lime beurre blanc, asparagus

crispy maple farms duck breast, creamy red quinoa, avocado and lime salsa, baby carrots

Guillo chili and espresso braised beef short ribs, cheesy pomegranate polenta, wilted rainbow chard, pan jus

              
oven roasted tomatoes, asparagus and squash tossed with fettuccini, goat cheese and roast garlic cream, shaved red beets  


          THIRD:                          
fresh made mini doughnuts/ beignets  with a trio of dipping sauces

dark chocolate chili pot de creme with heart shaped cookie

chocolate souffles with brandied cherries
