We started the Tales 'N Tunes Holiday music class today: my 4-year old, my 1-year old and me, plus our friends. This is our third time taking one of Miss Tonya's classes. My boys love her. The class has lots of singing, playing instruments and dancing, but most importantly, Miss Tonya is all smiles. Her classes are all about making the kids feel special. My 4-year old is at the top of the class now, an old pro.

When we pulled out the books from last year, he still knows all the words to Frosty the Snowman and Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. He loves these books.

And he amazed me the other night, looking at the musical notes for Frosty and pointing out where in the song we should be silent. Little minds are such sponges!

Kids just love music. All kids respond to it. How early can you enroll your child? I started my boy at 18 months, but I know moms who have started much earlier, especially when they've got older siblings in class (and siblings under 7 months are free!)
