Somehow, I kind of forget we have a Fantastic Sam's in our Town Center. Besides being reasonably priced, the best thing about them is that you don't need an appointment. In fact, they don't even take appointments -- it's walk-in only. I'm definitely one of those people who realizes it's time for haircuts when it's Hair Emergency-call 911 time.

Like when a wedding is coming up and my boys look like shaggy dogs.

Or my eyebrows start to look like Madonna circa 1984.

I didn't even know Fantastic Sam's did eyebrows until the other day, I took my boys in and overheard another mom talking about it. My other "convenient" waxing place, where I can walk in without an appointment, leaves me feeling like 10 layers of skin were just ripped off. (Bless their hearts, at least they're quick about it.) Plus, they do coloring, styling, and other services you might not think of.

And it's back-to-school time, and Fantastic Sam's is a locally-owned franchise (not a chain), so take your kids down anytime.
