What do you do with old electronics -- monitors, computers, printers, cell phones and the like?

Don't toss them into a landfill. This Saturday, you can recycle them and help out a great cause.

Mile High Youth Corps is hosting an electronics recycling event this Saturday at the East Montclair Community Center:

Come join us this Saturday, April 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the East Montclair Community Center located at 6740 E. Colfax Avenue for the Good & Green Electronics Recycling Event.

All electronics collected will be responsibly and securely recycled by a qualified recycler and all proceeds will benefit MHYC’s Leadership Council. The Leadership Council is a board made up of elected Corpsmembers from each of our crews that work together to implement change and better the MHYC community.

Mile High Youth Corps engages youth in jobs that help the planet and provide pathways to a promising future. They are currently hiring for their Summer of Service position – a two and a half month program for 18-24 year olds to get out into the community and do land conservation work. Youth work on a crew of about 11 other Corpsmembers doing work such as trail construction, campground restoration, chainsawing, planting trees and invasive species removal.
