An open letter to Yoplait
Dear Yoplait,
Yesterday I bought my 3 year old a box of your Scooby-Doo Rogurt -- that's yogurt in a tube. Breakfast is a difficult time in our house. So imagine my joy when my boy ate 3 tubes of yogurt this morning for breakfast!
Now, imagine my horror when he opened the third tube and squeezed a little too soon -- and a glob of neon pink yogurt landed on his shirt.
"Ooh mom, this one is medicine!" he said. Yes, it looks just like the bright pink antibiotic medicine.
I understand the need to flavor yogurt for kids. But this is this ungodly color really necessary? Red #40? That may or may not cause hyperactivity? Is this one of the colors you've voluntarily removed from your products in Europe? Can you consider giving us Americans the same respect?
I mean, the yogurt is in a tube. Kids don't even see it unless they spill it, and then it stains their shirts. Can't you just make it white? Or a more natural pink?
Is it even real yogurt in there?
Neon pink - ugh! I think Stonyfield Farms makes a similar organic product. But I haven't found it in Denver...let us know if you do find it!
Save the tubes, put your own yogurt in there mixed with some water or juice to make it more runny, et voila. When not in use, clip the end closed with a butterfly clip.
Hello! I just found the new Simply... Go-Gurt product and thought you would like it. It has all natural colors and all natural flavors- it might be a better fit for you. And Go-Gurt also took High Fructose out of all Go-Gurt this past February. Hopefully this helps make mornings great for your son AND for you!
