How do you clean those mesh food bag thingies?

I like those mesh thingies that you can put food in for your baby, so they won't choke, but how do you clean them?

Apples and grapes are fine, but after a banana, I think I have to just toss it.

Don't know about the bleach advice. I think I'll just skip bananas.

    I would recommend freezing chunks of banana. It helps the little one who are teeting and seems to make less of a mess. Also, I let the bag soak for a couple hours and then throw it on the top rack of the dishwasher.
