Trying to have an adult conversation

Sunday, October 25, 2009 Leave a Comment

It's kind of sad when the only real adult conversation I've had with my husband all week -- you know, one that doesn't involve the words, "I'm counting to three," or "Stop that right now!" -- occurred at Borders Book Store in the middle of the kid's section.

While the 3 year old played and the 6 month old slept in the stroller, we got to have a nice chat about a whole bunch of things other than our kids.

Perhaps Borders bookstore and the towncenter bookstore should market themselves as a place for parents to catch-up, while children can read. However, we should keep this a secret or eventually the Borders children's book section will resemble MacDonalds playland.
