More fall toddler & preschooler activities

It can be tough for us stay-at-home moms to find enough activities to fill our pre-preschoolers days. Back in January, I couldn't imagine sending my 3 year old to school 5 mornings a week. Now that the time has arrived, and he's only in school 2 afternoons, it doesn't seem nearly enough.

Here's a list of some of the fall activities that we participate in, or have participated in, or want to participate in:

1. Music Together. My 3 year old son has been doing this since 18 months, and loves it. Just when I think he's too big for it, I overhear him singing, in tune, one of the songs and I enroll him again. My 5 month old was enraptured in the summer classes, too.

2. Baby Power. We did the Mom's Morning Out for the last year. He loved it -- loved the teachers, the kids, the playtime, the songs, even the crafts. Drop him off, hit the grocery store. Ahhh.

3. Tales 'N Tunes. Miss Tonya is awesome. She offers evening classes too!

4. Stapleton All Sports. Whether they're natural athletes or a little timid on the field, Coach Gabe can get anyone throwing, kicking, batting and running like a champ. A new program for 2 and 3 year olds, in addition to his programs for older kids.

5. For older kids, here's a fun one: Aerial Dancing. Trapeze, swings, ropes, looks like scary fun! A 10 year old girl's dream birthday party, eh?

6. Sticky Fingers Cooking. This is one I totally want to try.
