We finally did it. We bought the Bob Revolution double stroller, after months of debating. My husband's initial reaction, during the last REI 20% off sale, was: "You want to spend how much on a stroller?!"

I feel like we just bought a new car, it's so huge (and yet light) and expensive. I made my husband take the 3 year old out for a spin this morning, with the dog on a leash, so he'd understand why I needed the one-handed steering and the rotating front wheel. We'll be out every day, I reasoned, and we'll use it for another couple of years, and when we're done, we can sell it and get most of our money back.

Best of all, I didn't have to wait for the next REI sale. My favorite kids' store, Guys & Dolls, carries them and since they're locally owned, they promise to match other store's sale prices, and they're open to your offer. Love you, Guys & Dolls!
