OK, I'd been trying to ignore it, but really, this is getting ridiculous.

The list of recalled peanut products is growing by the minute and includes "natural" brands like Luna Bars, Larabars, Annie B, Clif Bar, Kashi, Bear Naked... the list goes on and on.

The real question we should be asking is this: How on earth did salmonella -- which is "microscopic living creatures that pass from the feces of people or animals to other people or other animals"-- get into the peanut supply in the first place??? From the peanut farms?? Or from the factory? How exactly does poop come into any sort of contact with peanuts (or spinach or jalapenos or etc)? Doesn't it make you wonder about our farming practices?
