Bluff Lake Nature Center needs volunteers!

Check it out:

Get outside, have fun, give back to your community and learn some new skills! Bluff Lake Nature Center is looking for volunteer naturalists to introduce school groups to nature as part of our elementary education programs. No experience is necessary, and all training is provided on-the-job.

Bluff Lake is also looking for site stewards to lend a hand and make the habitat healthy for our wild friends! Site Stewards work closely with the Site Manager through a variety of activities, including planting native plants, removing noxious plant species, trail construction and trash pick-up.

Visit www.BluffLakeNatureCenter.org or call Kristin Libberton at (303)344-1282 for more information, and get started today!

I admit, we don't take advantage of this great resource often enough -- and if you're like me, you might be wondering how safe it is for a mom to walk with her kid out there. But there is a site manager out there every day, and they get plenty of runners and walkers, so you're not out there alone.
