Liz Easterly

Liz is mom to two rowdy, wonderful boys and a gentle black lab. She's a Colorado native -- born and raised in Longmont. She lived on both coasts before realizing Colorado's the best of all worlds. She is a freelance writer and marketing consultant and feels incredibly lucky to get to stay home with her kids. She started this blog 4 years ago because she realized pretty quickly that moms need other moms to survive.

She's an occasional contributor and writes "That Stapleton Mom," profiling some of our local business owners and mavens.

Sarah Christian
Sarah is a Landscape Architect and has lived in Stapleton since February 2003, just six months into the start of the housing development when her two children were just five and three.  They now attend middle school and high school at Denver School of the Arts.  After a twelve year career in Human Resources with GTE Corporation (now Verizon), Sarah decided to pursue a more creative career and earned a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1995.  She is a native of Florida and therefore had to learn an all new plant palette but she loves the change of seasons that Colorado offers.  Her landscape architectural design and consulting business, Urban Gardens, offers master plans/hardscape design/plant design and has completed over one hundred built Stapleton projects and also works throughout central Denver.

Marissa Ferrari

Marissa works for Denver Public Schools, leading the district’s efforts to help parents learn about school options and understand enrollment processes. On a monthly basis, Marissa will profile schools and address issues of interest to Stapleton parents. Marissa recently bought a Capitol Hill home built in 1896. And, yes, she is jealous of our pools.
