Last March, more than 2.2 million people and 2,100 businesses in Sydney, Australia, turned off the lights for one hour to inspire others to take action against climate change.
This massive, collective effort - called Earth Hour - reduced Sydney's energy consumption by 10.2 percent for on hour,
equivalent to taking 48,000 vehicles off the road for one year.
So....... on March 29, at 8:00 pm MST, Earth Hour is going global. People around the world will take a stand a send a powerful national and global message that it is possible take action against global warming.
