Hayrides

Tuesday, October 9, 2007 Leave a Comment

Last weekend was the weekend to go see the aspens. If you missed it, then it's time to take the kids to a corn maze, hayride, pumpkin patch or petting farm.

If you think your tax dollars go down a black hole, think again: someone at the Colorado Department of Agriculture has done a darn good job of listing all the hayrides and pumpkin patches in the state.

Better yet, take the family out to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal.

Yes, the place east of Commerce City where the army used to store weapons and chemicals and all sorts of nastiness.

It's now a wildlife refuge, and on Saturday they're having hayrides, bison herds, bands, dancers and.... a guest appearance by Ralphie, the CU Buffalo.
